It's summer time and although it's hot everywhere else it's a balmy sixty degrees here in Alaska. There are over twenty hours of daylight. Which means I'm constantly up. I mean insomnia up. Tons of sunlight sounds like a good idea....Sounds like.
But it's summer and I love it. Especially when you realize that Alaska really doesn't have a Fall or Spring. Which means if it's not Summer then it's Winter. And the Winters up here are cold, snowy and ice filled.

I love summer because I can have my windows open most of the time to refresh my apt. I also like being able to let my cats out on to the balcony so they can watch the birds and squirrels close up. They really enjoy it too. (I don't like it on the rare occasions they catch a bird...much screaming and chasing around the apt. ensues.)

Wow, Leila, I feel for you! I don't really like the cold, so it's a good thing that I live in FL. Here, the weather is the same pretty much year round, so it's not the warm weather that I love about summer. I love having the kids home from school so that we can do things together! Plus, it's my hubby's birthday at the end of the month. :)
