Shhh....can I tell you a secret?

I have a secret love affair going on. It's not something everyone knows. It is a personal secret and has been going on since I started reading romance novels. Yep, I'm having a secret affair with historical romance.
Now my sexy paranormal stories have no idea that Ms J. Quinn, C. Coulter and J. Garwood have all been enablers on my secret liaisons. But now I am going to have to come out of the historical closet. You see I entered the HQ Historical Undone pitching contest and was asked to submit a full.
Of course, now that the cat is out of the bag I am gorging myself on my secret obsession. I love the regency era and am so thrilled to be writing a regency short. It's fun to know all the rules and have my heroine break them.

Spring Fling Blog Hop

It's time for the Spring Fling Blog Hop. Spring time is on us. The drab whiteness of winter here in Alaska is slowly turning green. Green here is a beauty that will steal your breath away. Right outside my house the mountains look like a postcard. So it's time to celebrate. What does that mean.

It means that the prize for this hop has to be pretty darn cool. The choice is either  a $20 gift certificate to B&N or Amazon or  a hand crafted vase or a set of hand crafted tea light holders. These are one of a kind items (the glass)  so I don't have a photo of them. The vase is about a 40oz (yes it's huge) or the set of tea light holders are a coral type so the light shines through creating a cool shadow effect. Here is an example:

 The vase can retail for over a hundred and the tea light holders are about $35 each.

Also I will make these items as color specific as I can. So that they match the winner's home decor.  These items will take about 36+ hours to complete at the glass art studio so please allow 4-6 weeks to receive the item.
